The Lore
Death is the domain of Nagash, the Great Necromancer and Supreme Lord of the Undead, who would fold every soul in the Mortal Realms into a single, silent empire. Spectral hosts, bone constructs, ghoul-kings and vampire dynasties all serve his will.
Cut down the legions of Death and they simply rise again — for the grave is patient, and the tithe is always due.

The Death Grand Alliance is made up of Flesh-eater Courts, Nighthaunt, Ossiarch Bonereapers and Soulblight Gravelords — all bound to Nagash, Supreme Lord of the Undead, though each fields a very different kind of undead army with its own distinct look and playstyle on the tabletop.
Nighthaunt field fast, ethereal spirit hosts that can move through terrain and strike quickly, with fairly fragile individual models. Soulblight Gravelords are a more flexible vampire-led army, mixing tough undead infantry, cavalry and monstrous creatures, giving more room to build around different vampire bloodline playstyles.
Yes — Ossiarch Bonereapers use durable, disciplined bone-construct units with straightforward rules, making them a forgiving army for players new to Age of Sigmar. Their resilience on the tabletop means small tactical mistakes are less punishing than with more fragile Death factions like Nighthaunt.

Each Death faction is built and played as its own army under current rules, so Nighthaunt, Ossiarch Bonereapers, Soulblight Gravelords and Flesh-eater Courts don't combine into a single detachment. You can, of course, collect and play more than one across different games.
